AFAIK it should be easy. Dingwall pickups come pre-wired to accommodate either series or parallel wiring IIRC, and the wiring diagrams are simple and easy to follow. Any tech could do it in literally minutes, but obviously drilling the holes and mounting the switches themselves will take longer.Now that makes me regret not having the s/p switches ..

Seriously though, for me I have a really really hard time reading chords or even tabs while playing, the only way I sound good is if #1 I write it, or #2 I read the tabs/chords, chip at it and get the beat down in my head and get muscle memory.
I have a hyper focus state of mind, reading A G# F# E makes me say "A G#.." in my head and the actual music in my head vanishes.
I have 0 music theory, but I know what fits and what doesn't.

I was commenting on how much of a beast he was at reading and arrangements.
If I were there I would probably go cross eyed, foam at the mouth and pass out for a few hours.

Uh, F# can sound awesome. Depends on your band, the context, how you EQ/shape the tone, how you play, and what your expectations are going in. I love my AB1 tuned to F#, using Payson's strings.
Do you have any audio samples, without any compression/distortion/etc ?
For the moment I have the feeling F# sounds a bit like the low B on a 34", not as loud and not as clear as the rest.

Low B on a 34" can ring very loud and clear. Again, it's about expectations -- human hearing is incredibly less sensitive to very low notes, so you have to adjust.
With that said, here's a quick thing I did a long time ago, dropping a riff from my band from Eb down to F#:
Signal was basically AB1 -> Axe-Fx II with just an SVT amp model and I think a Dr.Bonkers cab model -> Reaper. No EQ, HPF, compression, etc.
Edit: This may have even been a prototype Payson F# string at that time. I think he's made a few tweaks to it over time @Blues Cat
There's a lot that I would do if I were recording in F# -- that was just "hey, what does this sound like with no tweaking" kind of test. Even only dropping in a high-pass helps a ton with it.
