Dingwall Owners Club

White is mean, clean, and goes with everything. :) Transparent white over ash is probably my favorite, though...

Bang! Me too.

I bought my Ferrari yellow NG2 right before the white ones came out. Would have much preferred the white to the yellow, but it's grown on me.

I couldn't leave it alone, had to go 3X with a p-tone, new pickguard, all new black hardware including the increasingly rare Payton bridge. Custom D-Cline knobs.

I came close to going all white with it, but sent the neck off to Pat Wilkins in order to go all in YELLER. Last thing I did was Payson black strings, I think I'll leave it alone for now....

There is a thread on here somewhere that categories all the work I did to it.

The knobs are very interesting looking, and the black bridge looks awesome! I personally much prefer black hardware to any other color.

I don't normally like white on guitars but I think it looks pretty good on these. When/if I ever get a 2nd Dingwall, I'll probably go for white in a 4 string.

The white is just classy. It was my fav.
I had orange and come to think of it I actually had a yellow one

I did like the lacuna seca blue too

But in the end... I still prefer x woods

Hard to believe it had another life before it ended up with me!

I used to think white was white, until I got this. It's a very very classy white. It's my favorite color for an NG. And I honestly don't think it's just because it's the color I own. Such a beautiful satin finish.

NG3 owners: How do you feel about the overall tone when all three pickups are selected? I still need to work on the tone shaping but it feels a little too... boomy? Any tone settings you're using on the bass when you switch over?

Did you switch the selector to a D-Bird selector? The neck pickup on its own is pretty big / boomy sound.
