Must be rosewood, then. My AB definitely has wenge, though.

Nice bass! The Ferrari Yellow and my fav the Red, are 2 colors I hated to see go. I lucked out and received one of the last ones.

Not to change the subject...but Nordstrand Audio is now selling a Dingwall-compatible "Nordymute." Got mine ordered already. I have one that I use on my Le Fay 5 string and love it.

Sweet. I was gonna ask Mo if they were flagons do this before he shipped my neck back but forgot.

I may have to try and grab one anyways depending on shipping.

I ended up buying a Ducati White version of the NG-2 yesterday from Reverb, in mint condition. Not my first choice of color, but if I really want to change the color, I can always pay to have it refinished. Beats constantly checking the web for used ones in good condition and in the Ferrari Yellow color I want, as who knows how long that would take. Life's too short to wait around for something that might never happen. The Lambo Green (my second choice) seems to show up in used market more frequently, but the ones out there are either a bit dinged up, a bit expensive, or the seller didn't get back to me. And it's not the exact shade green I'd prefer (I prefer a more neon yellow-green look, which I like even more than the Ferrari Yellow). So I think the best option is to just do a refinish down the line.

The Ducati White might grow on you! I bought a Ducati White Z3 with plans on sending it out to be refinished after I saved up the cash for the paint job. It has actually started to grow on me.....lol and now I'm leaning towards leaving it white!

I'm wondering if that might happen to me too, but I need to first get the Ducati White in my paws first.

I actually have someone who will sell me a Ferrari Yellow too. So now I have to decide to buy the yellow and then sell off the white, or not buy the yellow and keep the white, with the possibility of refinishing it into the neon yellow-green I'm aiming for.

Here's a Photoshop mockup of the neon yellow-green:

Buy the yellow, and a 2nd white to refinish to neon. Then compare all 3 side-by-side, realize you want them all, cry just a bit at the $6k spent, then live happily ever after with 3 beautiful basses:D

I don't normally like white on guitars but I think it looks pretty good on these. When/if I ever get a 2nd Dingwall, I'll probably go for white in a 4 string.
