The jazz control plate is awful.
I couldn't agree more. Lose the plate & put a side-jack on it... I like the Rickenvibe.

The jazz control plate is awful.
Close but no cigar.
Nice thought though.
I would love a Torzal bass someday, and I'd love a fanned Ric, but this one doesn't do it for me.The elusive Dingenbacker J Bass.
What’s happening here?
I too would like a Torzal but it'll involve an expensive trip to TX first, just to try one.
Featuring the no longer available Baltic Amber pickguard color. I contacted Dingwall about that color a while back and was told they can no longer get it. Such a shame as it's a beautiful color for a pickguard. That color with a pearl white body and maple fretboard would absolutely slay me.
Does anyone have a 5 string P tone long scale pick up?
if so,
A) likes/dislikes?
B) want to sell it?
I loved the look of Baltic Amber on transparent white first generation Combustions. My favorite is with "Bronze Age"...

Very, very nice! Wish someone would start a Dingwall 4 string thread because they're the ones that I really like to see on here, and what I'll eventually be getting.I loved the look of Baltic Amber on transparent white first generation Combustions. My favorite is with "Bronze Age"...

I wish the new pickups still had “dingwall” on the covers
