Well, this quarantine sure sucks,
and it double sucks to be experiencing some pretty gnarly vertigo for the first time in my life, but my custom guard from Terrapin finally came in.

It took a while to finally decide on parchment over mint, but I’m glad I went this route. It will likely age to a nice creamy yellow over the next few decades as I continue to play the hell out of this bass.

Routed for a bridge pickup and side jack by Mo, refinished by his paint guy in Capri Orange. FDV bridge pickup, Dingwall 4-way selector, and flat-top chrome knobs (the only knobs that belong on a P) installed. And finally featuring a parchment/black/parchment pickguard.
Everything looks totally like it would’ve come straight from the Saskatoon shop. And I’m enjoying the sound/feel of the Dunlop nickel Super Bright strings with the tapered B.
