yep. That said there is a vintage burst 4 hanging on the wall locally at long and Mcquade. I’d be happy to help arrange it for you

There are also other factors that deviate from an assembly line. ie having to rebuild a neck.

just when you think the bass is on its way to assembly(or probably long before) a fault Appears with the neck.

time to postpone delivery of that instrument as a new neck gets reconstructed.

or perhaps, a shortage of a wood spec leads it to being delayed as appropriate wood is sourced.

I would love that. I’m fine with the nut width on my 6 string NG but around the 7th fret the neck gets too wide for my preferred fingerings to work comfortably on the low B.

Narrow spacing at the bridge bridge doesn’t slow me down at all. I’m fine with 16mm on my other sixes but I bet I could go even narrower.

Yeah. I was thinking 16 or 16.5 would be a sweet spot for me. Pipe dream, but, would love it.

But I also need a guitar, I went to the shop yesterday and tried tons of them hoping to find a cheap good one.
Turns out all the instruments I found to be good are around two grand :( Not really what I had hoped for ..

I have a $200CAD MTD P bass that I picked up randomly and it’s better then every single $2000 fender I’ve played.

Yes, things are strange sometimes. I have a half dozen US made G&L custom guitars, but everyone’s favorite is a Korean made ASAT tribute I found for 225 dollars in a crummy pawn shop window. Plays like butter after I redid its setup, and sounds fantastic.

Id love to see them use carbon fibre on some necks

Quick question... a couple of the hipshot tuners on my combustion 5 are rattling, and one of them in particular is tuned to the open string D. Super annoying - it’s not only quite noisy but I actually feel the vibration (or is it in my head). Any idea how to fix that? Or should I just replace?

Which part is rattling? Have you made sure everything is tight? I kind of doubt you have to jump to replacing.
