it’s close enough to an N that when @pravus sells it to me I can say it’s my initial. .....wishful thinking.

There most definitely is. Yours are very well spec’d to my likings for sure. The really cool thing is that it looks like a "Z" when you hang it vertically. There's a lot going on in these basses.
I know Fret Nation has replacements for import basses in-stock, but I don't know if one of those would work, or if it would be a good starting point for a Z nut. I'd email the Dingwall Tech line, and look for a good luthier who could possibly create one for you. I've had good luck with skilled luthiers making new nuts for my Dingwalls in the past!Where is my best source for a replacement nut for my 4-string Z?
I want to try stringing it BEAD, and the current/standard nut is perfect, so I don’t want to modify the existing nut.
Fret Nation is a good resource, also you might not need a new nut depending on string gauge. I currently have an NG-2 strung B E A D with a .125 as the B using the Stock nut with no problems. So you can try that first as an option. If you do find a good source please post as I may dabble with heavier gauge strings in the future that would require a different nut.Where is my best source for a replacement nut for my 4-string Z?

Is there any difference between the truss rod for the ABZ and those for the ABI and ABII? The website descriptions are very different. Thanks.
I swear I saw something in here before, but has anyone found a solution for fret wraps that suit fanned fret basses?
Also, registered my interest with my local Dingwall dealer for a Super P. Looking for:
- 5 string Super P with standard kit
- PJ pickup config
- Pelham Blue finish (with default black pickguard)
- Blue Luminlay side dots
- Chrome hardware

Cleared customs yesterday, sat all day locally. Now I get this coming up:

Business closed. No delivery attempt. It's being shipped to my home address, not a business. Not closed. Bu then, 'no delivery attempt' is also perplexing. I've requested 'pick up in person' now and am waiting for confirmation. It doesn't have to be stupid like this.
No, it does not have to be stupid. I'm suspecting a lazy driver.

What a bummer! I live close to the airport, so I always have FedEx hold my deliveries for pickup. That way if they drag out a damaged box, we are definitely going to open it together!
Hope you get it soon, looking forward to the NBD pics!
yep - a few weeks ago i sold a 'W' bass to a nice TB'er - paid over 400 bucks for Fedex fast delivery too him - two and a half weeks later, he got the bass. Not impressed - they used COVID and Laura as the reasoning (oh this sailed thru Canada/USA border)..got held up in TN, the notifications just ended...no updates... ... WHY offer this type of "shipping" if you can't guarantee what you are paying for...or come CLOSE at least. Overnight is not the same as 2.5 weeks.
Hope all ends well for you - frustrating im sure.

I usually save my real shipping venom for UPS, who left my first Dingwall (Afterburner 1) unattended on my front walk in a city neighborhood about 2 feet away from the sidewalk...and forged a signature.

Tried this previously. Due to COVID nothing is guaranteed, except you can offer to pay more for lessIf it’s guaranteed shipping you could get compensated for it! I used to work at a shipping store, and if it’s guaranteed delivery and it didn’t get delivered on time you can usually get your money back. I’m not sure if this applies for international shipment though, but worth the shot considering how much you paid for shipping.
