That was my thought. I have an ABZ6, but this seemed like a very ephemeral opportunity.

, had 4 (was in 2 gigging bands then, so 2 at practices, one at home, and one was an upgrade). One songlist set was tuned down, so was one bass at home, 2 keeps me from having to bend over as much. My L5 is water thin. Anyone buying it? Maybe I'm a little lazy as well.

Not sure I follow... Is one of the tuners configured differently for downtuning? Is chromatic mode not an option?
You could just get a tuner designed this millennium that can easily detect if you’re in an alternate tuning.
Or I could use the ones that still work, and use the $ for my ThunderP, a P-body version of my favorite bass of all time (well, since 1968 anyway):

I swear this is the worst part about having an order in. I keep wanting to change my finish colour every few days when I see another one out there I like!
So far I'm at:
- Pelham Blue (current order)
- Lake Placid Blue equivalent
- Candy Apple Red (either matte or gloss)
- Candy Apple Green (either gloss or satin)
So hard to decide...
Bass Direct lists their Super J models as having tone chambers. I thought all of the Super series basses were solid bodies with no semi hollow or chambering options. Did I miss something, or is that a typo on their website?

Because I've been asked, the Hipshot solo bridges are a direct replacement. They are slightly longer than the original bridges because they also accomodate string throughs

Picking a finish is always the hardest part of a custom build.
Clearly I must have all of them. It's the only logical option
