Dude. Before I got my first 6 I lusted on that one for quite a while back when the previous owner toiled with selling it on the old website forum. Very beautiful piece of historyCould be, could be. I felt some urgency, certainly.

Indeed. Congrats. Nice avatar pick!! LolThat was my thought. I have an ABZ6, but this seemed like a very ephemeral opportunity.

Are there two tuners on your board?I happy with Roscoes, very happy with my Dingwall, neither will be for sale used in my lifetime. They are not mutually exclusive:

YupAre there two tuners on your board?
Yup, had 4 (was in 2 gigging bands then, so 2 at practices, one at home, and one was an upgrade). One songlist set was tuned down, so was one bass at home, 2 keeps me from having to bend over as much. My L5 is water thin. Anyone buying it? Maybe I'm a little lazy as well.
You could just get a tuner designed this millennium that can easily detect if you’re in an alternate tuning.Right, one is set to down 1/2 step
Or I could use the ones that still work, and use the $ for my ThunderP, a P-body version of my favorite bass of all time (well, since 1968 anyway):You could just get a tuner designed this millennium that can easily detect if you’re in an alternate tuning.
Wow! Bass directs stock right now.....
I think the 2 used ones may be my fav but good gawd, what a variety

I swear this is the worst part about having an order in. I keep wanting to change my finish colour every few days when I see another one out there I like!
So far I'm at:
- Pelham Blue (current order)
- Lake Placid Blue equivalent
- Candy Apple Red (either matte or gloss)
- Candy Apple Green (either gloss or satin)
So hard to decide...

Picking a finish is always the hardest part of a custom build.![]()
More pics (in sunlight) + a playthrough from my band's new album.
Because I've been asked, the Hipshot solo bridges are a direct replacement. They are slightly longer than the original bridges because they also accomodate string throughs
