Yes,, thats a lot of weight.. I don't do gigs, so not a big problem for now.
but the richness of bass sound(with EQ all flat) is something surreal..
Its glockenklang 3band.
And the weight, I think its over 10lb. I don't have weight here to measure.
My walnut core Voodoo weighs in @ 10lbs flat...with the tummy cut and the way it balances it gigs like a 9lbs bass.
Good news: my D Roc, which was originally supposed to get here today, and got slipped to Monday delivery, is now updated to be delivered tomorrow.
Less good news: I have to take my wife out for an appointment tomorrow, so I may not be here to sign, so I’ll have it sent to the FedEx store, which usually gets its deliveries right at the end of the day.
Still, late tomorrow though it may be, it’s not Monday!

Just picked her up from ups today and I am floored by this bass , I thought my combustion was great but this is by far the best playing 5string I have ever held and the tone is unreal ,.. looks like I’m going to be listing a few of my USA Spectors soon so I can get another one ...

You have a Dingwall fretless? That's awesome! How do you find them? I assume they are still multiscale? Is it weird playing a "fanned fret" fretless?
When you play a Dingwall regularly it’s quite normal. Not as complicated as most think. Unlined does add another level of complexity but IMO it’s the same on a parallel Fretless. There are a few members with some Fretless beauties in this club.
