Beautiful bass! Does that have a layer of wenge under the amazing looking top?

Its glockenklang 3band.congratulations!
I would love to hear how that wood combo sounds. Looks amazing. What is the weight out of curiosity?
what preamp? DGTC?

Just picked her up from ups today and I am floored by this bass , I thought my combustion was great but this is by far the best playing 5string I have ever held and the tone is unreal ,.. looks like I’m going to be listing a few of my USA Spectors soon so I can get another one ...View attachment 4119184View attachment 4119185 View attachment 4119186View attachment 4119191
Its glockenklang 3band.
And the weight, I think its over 10lb. I don't have weight here to measure.
My Z3 sixes boarder 10lbs. The Fretless being just over IIRC
When you play a Dingwall regularly it’s quite normal. Not as complicated as most think. Unlined does add another level of complexity but IMO it’s the same on a parallel Fretless. There are a few members with some Fretless beauties in this club. You have a Dingwall fretless? That's awesome! How do you find them? I assume they are still multiscale? Is it weird playing a "fanned fret" fretless?
