What genre do you play most?Dingwall and spector clubs.
I'm looking to snatch either an euro LT 4 or a combustion 3 CE 5, tell me which one to get. Go!
Both outstanding basses. I don't think there's really a 'genre' difference between them and much more a tone difference. The low B on a Dingwall is in a class of its own. Playability of the fan frets is great - some people who play a lot of chords above the 12th/15th fret sometimes complain that fingerings are different on the fan frets.Dingwall and spector clubs.

There are many people here with both Spector and Dingwall basses. I think the Dingwall tends to have more tonal range, but that may depend a bit on which specific pre amp you'll have in either of those two basses.
BothDingwall and spector clubs.

For a 5 string the Dingwall definitely has a faster tighter feeling neck.Mostly metal but I'm all over from death metaltto funk, jazz etc.
Euro has darkglass with bartolinis, split P and J.
Combustion has the emg with 3 ding pickups as usual.
5 string ding and 4 string spector.
I can’t speak for Spector but as a recent convert to Dingwall I’m all in with them.Dingwall and spector clubs.

What tool do I need to do a neck adjust on a Combustion / NG3? I saw some conflicting answers in a Google search.
Depends upon the year. They've had two different wrench sizes over the years.
The more current one is a 4mm wrench. The older one is 9/64.

You know I had that...then I did a quick check online just to make sure...and saw this:

...so I switched it...
fixed again.
its an easy mistake. 9/16 is one of the most commonly used nut sizes paired with a 3/8” thread
When I was doing more commercial work. A 9/16 combo wrench was easily one of my top 5 required tools so I have an easy out in the memory programming. It's a typo that will forever haunt my trussrod verification searches.
