kidding. A limited edition ric 4003 with my dream specs came up here the next day and i got it. Flamed maple, checkerboard binding, monti brown amberglo. Good karma.
p.s. your new bass sucks… sell it to me later!
Thanks - that is what I expected. Even one labelled Transparent Orange seems to have some red on the outside.

I recently ordered a NordyMute for my Super J. When ordering it seems that I accidentally had the selection pulldown set to 19mm 5-string rather than the 4-string option I needed. Nordstrand messaged me this morning saying that my replacement was on the way and that I should just give the one I already received away since they won't re-sell it. Pretty cool. I don't own a 5-string Super P or J but I'm sure someone on here does and wouldn't mind having a NordyMute for their bass. It's the maple version.If you want it please shoot me a private message. He all you Dwall cats...anybody have one of their axes with a painted neck on the back? If so feel, durability etc. They don't offer this option any more. And if nobody does...then...I don't know...uh...be cool and enjoy life I guess.
I say this not having laid hands on one, but I always assumed the painted necks would fell pretty much the same as all the maple necked Dingwalls as they are all finished with a satin poly I think (mine are anyway).
