Dingwall Owners Club

I am loving the TI flats on my NG2. Gave them a few days to settle in, and the truss rod needed a quarter turn to eliminate some buzzing on the lower frets. But the sound is as massive as that TI B string, and I can still get plenty of different tones with the Darkglass pre and pedals. The Canadian Dingwalls are gorgeous and I still want to try some to see how the necks differ from the NG/Combustion, but I'm really happy with what I have at the moment. I will be heading to Ontario in December to visit my wife's relatives north of Toronto, and I hope to have time to find a music store in Toronto with some Canadian Dingwalls in stock. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

The Markham L and M is my local and I'm generally in there once or twice a week. I have only ever seen one Canadian Dingwall and that was around last Christmas. Someone ordered one, took it home and then brought it back. It was only in the shop for a couple days then gone again. Give them a call and see, they are very nice, helpful people there.

So I think I'm having the low B rattle that some have mentioned here. It did go away if I put pressure behind the nut, so I lowered the tree on the bass side slightly and its still happening.

It's obvious the holes aren't drilled very far, the screws barely want to turn with no string tension. Should I remove the tree and re drill so it can sit lower? How low is "too low"?

Moving my way ;)

I'd look for the rattle elsewhere. Check that all the tuner buttons are tight, tuner mounting nuts are snug first.
