To be fair I think Retro may have had 3-115's before I did? It's blurry, lol...
That setup is gonna slay!! I predict rattling walls and a big smile.
My NG3 and Moby (my new white AB2) sound freaking killer through the 115's. Aggressive OR smooth, they just work. Tomorrow night is Moby's stage debut (with me) along with the D800+ and the full tower.

I just sold my 112 2 weeks ago and hope to find a second 210 to either pair the 2 of them with tue 215 or make a power house 1000!!
either way. Tower of boom goes to you with your fancy lights too!
I'm still hoping for a Z or even a Prima 6 string to pop up. I'd probably then sell my AB1 6er.

a certain company beginning with W had the devil of a time with ovangkol necks a few years back. How stable are you finding it?
So, I added in the 6 way switch on my DRoc 5, which gave me the following.
Position 1: Bridge Solo
Position 2: Bridge/Middle Parallel
Position 3: Middle
Position 4: Middle/Neck parallel
Position 5: Neck/Bridge parallel
Position 6: Neck Solo
I'm really liking it so far. The neck solo sound great. Basically like the middle but less edgy. Position 4 sounds very similar to the stock all 3, which I didn't care for so I doubt that setting will get much use, but I need to see in a band setting.
One thing to note for anyone considering this, is that the switch is tall, and the DRoc body is narrow... I had to bend the top tab flat (by the dial/threads) and bend all the connections as flat as possible on the bottom switch and it still grounded out on my control cover if i pressed on it. i added some thick black tape to the back of the control panel where the switch was making contact.
Overall, I'm happy with the change and eager to test it out at rehearsal this week.

Thanks for the heads up. I had to bend the tab flat in my Z as well. Just the face tab though and not the back contacts. I maybe could have made it work drilling for the front tab but I’m no way was I gonna chance that.
I’m not surprised the M/N isn’t your fav. I think there is a reason why Dingwall has never really put that out there.
thanks for the anecdote. Do you recall if it sounded in the ballpark of a Fender P with flats? I’m really looking to get that sound but in the Dingwall format if possible.
A long scale Dingwall, even with FDV pickups, is considerably more hi-fi or rather has more clarity than a Fender P. You can get relatively somewhere in the neighborhood of the ballpark, but I don’t know if it will be good enough for your needs.
I've encountered multiple wibbly wobble Ovangkol necks, so preferred the wenge ones. On the other hand, I also heard some terrible suggestions about undried wood being used as well from some folks who ended up refusing to work on them.
