Thanks for the reply. You probably just cost me 1000$ more… but i figure for that dollar… i want what i want. Yolo

Your bass looks fantastic! I am likely going metallic (match my car). But man the contrast layers look great. But maybe i can still do that… hmmm

Feel free to post more pics. Looks like you have a six with a big .170 also. Just fantastic

Sorry to increase the budget for your new bass but I doubt you will ever regret getting the chambered body.

I recently ordered a 5 string Fretless from John Fox… thinking it will come this Spring.

That looks like my first Afterburner. I've been comparing your pics to the one pic that I have and the grain looks identical. Did you buy it used?

Yeah, though I forget where / from who. The red one I got from @graphics1988. Cannot remember the blue one though. It looks the same to me, just the pot in place of the switch now, and new knobs.

Ibanez BTB multiscales…sheesh

These seem cool, overall. That price... wow. I know Dingwall won't ever be able to knock $1k off their prices, but, that's going to put a TONNNN of pressure downward.

Overall, from the photos, they look pretty OK designed. The fretboard/nut area, in typical Ibanez, is ***. The pickups are a total unknown - kinda interested to hear more about them. Mostly it looks like a MS neck slapped on a slightly tweaked BTB. Low effort, but, pretty decent execution.

Edit: Just noticed the scale lengths. Seems like an odd choice... basically start at 37" and reduce 0.5" per string. So you still have a 35" G or 34.5" C string... which seems not great.
