That's exactly what I was wondering, the bridge goes inside the body?

Hope Sheldon could give me an answer to this, and if a Canadian bridge could be bought individually and mounted on the Combustion.
Sorry, I should have been more clear.

I have a Droc 5 standard, not a Canadian one, and the bridge is recessed into the body so I was speaking from that perspective. I'm not sure about the Canadian ones.

Yes, I noticed that the Recent D-roc Standards (made in Korea) have a similar, if not the same, bridge than the Canadians, hence why I ask!

I wish they installed these bridges as well on the Combustions. If someone knows how to get a good single piece black bridge for my Combustion like on the Canadians, I'm all ears!

I'd be kind of surprised if Dingwall would sell parts outside of a warranty / break-fix situation, and even then it'd be like-for-like.
As far as I can recall, the Canadian bridges are not only countersunk, but also have a mounting plate. It would not be trivial at all to retrofit a Combustion with a Canadian bridge. It's one of the things you give up by not going with a Canadian build, making them all the more worth it IMO.

Payson did make some that work with the combustions. I think the screw holes line up but a small part isn't covered (see thread) Dingwall Owners Club

My Super doesn't have a recessed bridge but I believe the spacing is different...Someone on here said maybe an AB bridge might work? I'd love an option

I'd buy a couple for sure if there was an option or Payson made them again. Message Payson if you like them and maybe they can do another run.

I snagged an all-black one a couple of years ago for my NG-2. Sweet bridges. I was able to place it where it covered the hole for the bridge ground wire and still intonate with standard gauge strings. Never tried any heavier gauges with it...

Trying some material for a potential new band this eve.
One tuning is Dropped to A on the B. I haven’t played dropped in a long time.

nothing does it like a dingwall. I love my Spectors but to be rolling hard on the B….. That a dingwall task.
These 3 getting put to work. It’s not really work though. I’ll not get paid…. Ever.

Totally like them, for those who did this upgrade, how do you like it?

Does it improve the tone, having a single piece bridge?

the more i see the voodoo body… the more i prefer it to the z (which looks amazing). The voodoo build that came out recently is gorgeous.
