Super congrats if it is yours.
Some beautiful instruments on these recent pics. Checked out these pics hoping to see mine but no dice, guess I'll continue the wait...

The fretboard of my ab1 is not as rounded at the edges as my ng… but it still feels great. It is probably a hands thing (we are all different). I am not too fussy about neck shapes/sizes. Jazz, ric, dingwall 5… all great for me. The only neck i recall just detesting was a 90’s fender deluxe 5 string jazz bass. That fiver was neck heavy, and i could never get fully satisfied with how the neck felt. I hated it.
Thanks, hypothetically anyway! And I see what you did thereSuper congrats if it is yours.
I’m guessing you may really bond with the AB neck then.just got my first Fodera 5 strings, Emperor. And I hate the neck, literally about to throw it out of the window.
yes, it is a hand thing indeed.
For me the neck on the Combustion 4 and 5 are the most comfortable necks I’ve played along with Le Fay 4,5 and 6
Well I actually went through with it. I had fun playing the D-Roc S 5 for a week or two but ended up trading for a Spector Ethos 5. It just didn’t get me giddy when I played it. It no doubt had the most amazing low end I have ever experienced when I played it at a band rehearsal and the awesome shape made me feel like a true rock star. But I didn’t gel with it as much as I’d have liked to. And was missing having a Spector I could use when I didn’t want to bust out the NS5XL. I’m not a guy that’s likes to have to fiddle with lots of knobs to get the sound I’m looking for. And the d rock seemed to have 4 switches to get a different side of the same flavor, unbridled rage. Even with the tone down and a soft touch it was more aggressive then I’d have liked, of course that could just be attributed to having bad finger tone, but what are you gonna do? It’s me playing the bass not anyone else, if you can get a smooth tone out of it without EQing the mess out of it, that’s simply because your a better bassist than I am, most people are anyway haha. It was a super fun bass but I feel more at home with Spector. Here’s some pics of me at my rehearsal with it.
I would still love to try a Canadian one in the future one day. They seem like amazing instruments with an impeccable build.

I'm in trouble now. Have no idea where it is going or if it is spoken for, but I wish it was available and I had the funds... (though I prefer it was a 5, cause I have a 4).

DefinitelyWhy is that called seafoam green? It looks pretty blue to me.
May I see a picture of the headstock from the front, please?A couple of tasteful little upgrades to my D-roc Standard 5 string.
A set of Canadian spec knobs and a set of Hipshot USA tuners ( the licenced Hipshot's were fine but these feel lovely ).

Question to the club - can someone give me a rundown of the dwall models?
I don't know much about the dingwall line up and I would like to know a bit more, thank you.
