Do the combustion’s with the rectangular pickups have a three pickup route? Trying to remember
No. More like 2-1/2 route so you can move the neck pickup from the combustion location to the NG location.

Have you ever tried a Levy’s strap? That’s what they are. They are a soft comfortable strap nothing fancy but a good size should width and a bit of padding inside. I have one and a few other levy’s I’ve been slowly filtering from my collection as I find time to make the odd one for myself.Who owns a Dingwall strap and what positive things can you tell me about it? Been thinking about getting one for my upcoming tour in January![]()
Good information here. I also prefer the straps that have a grippier undersideVery nice straps, but I preferred my Italia 4”. I let the Dingwall strap go with one of the basses I sold.
If I remember correctly, the Dingwall strap was very smooth on the underside and moved easily. I like the grip of suede on the underside of the strap.
I have a black/blue Italia that goes great with the blue Dbird, blue side out and black side out with the black Super P. With the recessed strap locks, you’ll end up turning the strap over, kind of inside out.

Happy Halloween! I would have liked to have borrowed Nate’s Joker Z for this photo but Pearl here matches the vibe too!

I don't know why people claim that Dingwall geeks have no sense of humour...Happy Halloween! I would have liked to have borrowed Nate’s Joker Z for this photo but Pearl here matches the vibe too!

The control plate, you mean?Nice.
I really like those "Super PJs in a Jazz body" and the metal pickguard... I wish they still offered those.
Control plate indeed! The control plate, you mean?
I like the look of the new Super J without control plate just fine, but would prefer the traditional.
Random question - does anyone know if the Mono Vertigo Ultra bag/case will fit the D-Roc and NG-3? I bet it'd fit the NG, but haven't seen any info on the D-Roc and it seems like people have had trouble with thunderbirds.
