Markham have them but that’s it’s for L&M, couple stores in Montreal have them in stock too.

There’s also a store called bass North out there somewhere. A small private shop I believe. He’s got adds on Kijiji. Not sure on his stock right now.
If I remember correctly it’s in London so not super local to Ottawa.

If you're up for a little drive, you could try my older Combustion as well. I'm slightly west of Montreal, so you wouldn't have to go into the city or even on island.
And it might be going up on Kijiji very soon.
I'm in Ohio and have a lowly Combustion. Plays and sounds nice. Would be willing to let someone interested to noodle with it to see how they like it.

My local L&M gets Dingwall B-Stock and such floating through. Pretty unlikely you won't find one on the wall. Heck, you might even be able to just go a couple blocks over to the actual shop. No point of putting mine on there but I would be more than willing to share if somebody really wanted.

Just got an Enki case during black friday, out of paranoia over avoiding damage to my new Z3 in transit and on stage. I will say though, it makes me a bit anxious putting it in the case. Not sure I like how tight it is and how easy it is to run the bottom on the front hard plastic and the amount of contact there is with the dividers as you slide the bass in/out will also take some getting use to.
Does anyone have any pointers that also uses an Enki with a Dingwall, to avoid scuffs while loading/unloading since it's a bit of a squeeze? I've been putting the top facing left. Also ended up switching the foam around after taking this pic so the larger part is the other way around and another bass can fit behind it if needed.
Unless I'm missing something, it also seems like a bad idea to keep a strap on the bass while it's in there, with how tight it is, especially since I like using the reach extender rear strap lock button.
Unfortunately my MM Bongo doesn't fit, which is a bit silly since it's 3" shorter scale - that headstock is massive!

This would be a godsend - I travelled all the way to NAMM a few years ago just to play something that wasn't a combustion or an NG. If anyone is in Nashville and has a AB2, hit me up.

Not the best photos but this is how I load mine. I can then at least leave a strap connected on the horn strap pin. they are a bit tight but that’s the idea and I just use extreme caution.
Once the body is in its slot and on its way to the bottom of the case I feel very confident that there would be no contact. With the rubber tape on the front lip too I don’t have any worries however I am experiencing it pulling off a bit and getting a bit of sticky residue coming off on the NG. I’m gonna add an additional layer of mole skin when I get around to it.
The empty case pic is just to show how I keep my simple pedal board in the dingwall bag inside the Enki. I could theoretically take the Enki and a backpack to play most shows.
Of course I’d much rather take my full rig. Hehe.
I feel like it's so close to perfect, but I wish it was either less tall on the bottom in the front (so basically, make the removable part longer) to prevent the "oh man, I'm gonna scratch my bass" feeling, or had some more padding or a bigger cutaway to make loading/unloading basses less sketchy and tight.
Also wish it had some way to secure straps while in there if you leave them on so they're not just stuffed in and/or loose. It'd make me super anxious to put a strap with straplocks in there and risk it moving around on a bass as nice as a Z3...
These two things in particular make it feel less safe than the gator ata case I got this to replace (I can just roll the strap up next to the bass and it's pushed down and held in place in the gator).
You've also got me thinking, seeing that dingwall "tick" - I wonder if you could squeeze a quad cortex in the little compartment... Where'd you get that btw? Not seeing it on their site, and I'd probably pick one up via the sale that's about to end since the pouch the Enki came with is a bit smaller than what could probably fit there.
Feeling like the pros and cons of this thing are really hitting me now! Heh

I don’t think it will fit a QC.
I only use a strap lock on the front and roll that up on the inside of my straps. Also my straps are quite robust and I don’t really worry about them getting sloppy in the case. With that, I did have a small bag i used to put them in to eliminate that concern but it seemed redundant with my current set up.
Thanks, man, hope this back and forth has helped other Dingwall owners considering the Enki... All of the YouTube videos seem to show people load/unload their instruments really quickly and not at the right angle to avoid scratches etc because they don't care about them or strategic edits cutting around that bit since it does take a while to load/unload at the right angle carefully.
Take your time to find the right angle and don't mess up your Dingwall if you get one!
Excited to see my bandmates' faces when I roll into our rehearsal this weekend with this beast, between the new Z3 and the Enki I'm gonna feel like Arnold in Commando when he busted out that square bazooka.

I am also addicted to the sound of a bass made from heavy, dense wood like wenge. Several years ago I owned a ABHS but stupidly sold it. I'm having a custom Z made which will have a dual density body with a wenge neck and fingerbroard. Haven't decided on the top wood yet.
