Nope. The supers are a step up from the long scales. ie a five string super is the same shell as a 6 string long scale if I remember right.

That's why I asked - I see Bass Central only has 1 listing, doesn't say what basses it is compatible with, and only offers the option of 4 or 5 string.
Hey Thumper, you might want to post a photo with a tape measure of these pickups. These are all Super five string pups?
I thought they were trying to make the pickups uniform size, but maybe that just wasn’t practical. It would be nice if there was a spec page just for pickups. With dimensions and model compatibility. I’d like to know what options are a drop in fit for the Dbird 4 import. And what fits in my AB 4 string?
I sure like the ptones, and I’ve put them into any bass that didn’t come with one. In one case, I needed a new pickguard and had to drill a few holes, the other was a drop in fit. I much prefer the easy way.

Pickups are interchangeable between Zs/ABs/D-Birds/D-Rocs/Combustions/NG on the one hand and Super-J/Super-PJ on the other hand.
For example, pickups aren‘t interchangeable between an NG-5 and a Super-J4, even though shells are the same size.

I'm getting ready to go to Moab UT for 5 days, but will do that when I get back. Mainly did my original post to try and ascertain values.
I was mostly curious if it would fit (a) the bridge rout on my SP5 or (b) the neck rout on my AB1.

I ride 2 wheels and pedal power but Utah is AMAZING! We hit St Grorge area this winter.

When I recently (~2 months ago) got into queue, 2024 hadn't yet come out and 2023 was still "the" list to work from. Not sure what month Dingwall typically puts new out though.

If I were to hazard a guess, I’d say August. The 2023 version I pulled from the European distributor’s website last week says valid from August 2023. And the prices quoted to me for a build just yesterday from a dealer lined up 100%.
I'll be asking $175 F&F, 2023 street price $199 before taxes/shipping. 1 sold already, 1 left (marked bridge, so basically it's a neck/bridge). 5 3/8" long.
I paid a deposit in Jan 2024 and got a serial number. I guess you lock your price at that time, or is it when you start specing things out? Anyways, it will be awhile.
My last two times through the rodeo, when you paid your deposit, you locked your build slot and price.
Check that, I have one marked neck left, I was in too much of a hurry when I posted that.

Jason has a special going on. I’ve used Pure Blues on my longscale fourstring Dingwalls. The E just makes it. The 95-40 VW set is my favorite. At least until I found an even lighter set of Payson nickel rounds.
I don’t know if the B strings are long enough, but Jason would know.
I’m thinking I’ll try the guitar sets since I like the bass strings so much.

Do they use shorter scale lengths than the Combustions/others?
