I'd be interested to check out the sound clips as well. The Anima is one of the many preamps on my "One day I'll try this" list.I should add that I have (basic rough and ready) sound clips of each of the following in case anyone is interested in the future:
NG3 FD3n: passive, EQ flat, all four positions on the pick-up selector
NG3 FD3n: DG tone capsule, EQ flat, all four positions on the pick-up selector
NG3 FDV: passive, EQ flat, all four positions on the pick-up selector
NG3 FDV: DG tone capsule, EQ flat, all four positions on the pick-up selector
NG3 FDV: passive, EQ flat, all six positions on the pick-up selector
NG3 FDV: Anima, EQ flat, all six positions on the pick-up selector
I’ve DM’d you. I hope you find them useful!I'd be interested to check out the sound clips as well. The Anima is one of the many preamps on my "One day I'll try this" list.

It’s in the US and through customs in the hands of Jason at FretNation. I should have it by Friday. Yay!
I haven't tried in more than 10 years, but they did not fit my AB1 back then.Hey everyone, do you know if a set of standard long scale DR Neon strings would fit my AB1, 34-37 scale? Strings not through body
I can't find the winding lengths online, I'd contact DR and ask, their customer service has always gotten back to me quickly.Hey everyone, do you know if a set of standard long scale DR Neon strings would fit my AB1, 34-37 scale? Strings not through body

I really like my Two-tone burst. So easy to play and I really like the FDV pups. Bet yours sounds great through that rig!Sheldon keeps pulling me in, even late in the game. I've watched the development of the SP1 for years and for no other reason than wanting one, pulled the trigger. Last new bass I had prior was the Ferrari yellow NG in 2015. I also have an early AB1, as well as a 99 NAMM show Z2, but the SP1 makes me want to play it. No regrets, get one!View attachment 7287169
