Nice bass, Wenge?View attachment 7286916
It’s in the US and through customs in the hands of Jason at FretNation. I should have it by Friday. Yay!
Yep, wenge is my fave neck. And, 8.37 lbs if anyone was wondering. Great balance so it feels even lighterNice bass, Wenge?

I caught some noise when recording with my SP1 today and listening back with headphones. Haven't noticed it playing on my rig. I may have to go over it for shielding/grounding now that I know it's there.I have noticed some noise when my SP-1 is plugged into either my rig or my Tascam bass trainer with headphones, that goes away when my left hand is on the strings, but is annoyingly present when not touching the strings. It increases with volume and its at its loudest when the PUPS are in series. Is that a grounding issue? Or is it normal and I just never noticed it with my NG3?![]()

I was using the SB port of an older laptop to power by Tascam Bass Trainer. I had left it powered up when I switched over to my rig. After I powered everything down, I turned my Magellan back on to work on a lesson and no noise! So it might be that I was introducing some sort of digital noise from the old laptop. I guess I probably can't blame my bass for that! LOL!I caught some noise when recording with my SP1 today and listening back with headphones. Haven't noticed it playing on my rig. I had my SP1 in series as well when I noticed it. My favorite setting.
After 8 years of wanting a Dingwall, then recently desperately trying to find a swirl one to get as my first, I ended up buying my first Dingwall. Not a swirl, but this blue to purple colorshift is gorgeous enough![]()

Great family pic! With such a nice variety, do you feel they are reasonably similar or different from each other? Do you use different pickup settings for each one? I love a variety of sounds but always find myself using B+N parallel live.My ding family
