I got both pickguards for about $95 shipped (total, not each) from Pickguardian. Turnaround was just over a week.
The pink-ish pg looks surprisingly the best.Ordered two new guards from Pickguardian for my NG-2. Only gripe is that I only have one bass to put them on.
In the process of converting the hardware to satin black, too, and I bought logo-less pickup covers.

Hmmmm. That one looks interesting. My problem with the Hercules hanging stands is the mechanism for supporting the headstock as you hang it really breaks easily. This one looks simpler. I might try one for when I only need one bass.

I'm usually pretty good at seeing ing them ahead of time, but this one lept out of thick cover at the last possible second at night. Not a thing I could do. And yours is a perfect example of how seeing them ahead of time doesn't mean you can escape their intellectual brilliance.Ah. I read where the Groove man was getting a 'new to him' four-string but didn't realize it had been yours. Sorry to hear about the deer collision but I'm glad that you're still here to tell the tale! The last too-close encounter I had with one was almost ten years ago. My son was riding to work with me in a little VW Jetta. I'd spotted the thing on the left side of the road and had slowed to about 30-35mph to see what it was going to do. Of COURSE the stupid thing decided that it had to be on the other side of the road. It JUMPED OVER THE FRONT OF THE CAR!!! It misjudged though, and hit at the top of the windshield/front of the roof and kept on going. Not exactly one of God's most intelligent creatures.

I had access to them all and researched heavily before deciding to go with the Hercules stands for myself. Lots of good ones out there, though.

I sold my Chrome Blue V2 or V3 (no way to know for certain) Combustion. I sold some old gear I no longer needed or wanted. I have other gear for sale (no, can't discuss in depth here since I won't pay TB). But, I've sold enough to buy graphics1988's Red Flame Maple AB I. I believe he's out in the middle of no where presently doing some vacationing, but I sent a substantial deposit to put my name to it, until he gets back and we can square up.
Can't wait to have that one in hand. I just wish it were active like my other AB-I, but the BluEQcube thing sounds intriguing, so we'll see how that sits with me.
