Coooool! I'm not in the know on these things, so I was being cautious with my words. But a D Bird would be totally awesome. Would it use FD3'S or do you think Sheldon has created a pick up just for this model?More than speculation. I'm surprised that there hasn't been more excitement from this tease. The D-Bird has been flying on the horizon for YEARS now and Sheldon mentioned that he had something to unveil at the London show. Here it is folks...BOOM BOOM BOOM.
A handful of years ago, these early renderings of what a D-Bird might look like leaked from the shop. I really wonder what it looks like in reality now that it's off the ground.

The logo he went with is pure gold from a design perspective. Evocative of golden-era automotive branding and the native american culture those cars wanted to evoke. Very well done.
Also really dig that the headstock is non reverse. A much more attractive choice IMO
