Dingwall Owners Club

Well I played a ng-2, it was blue and beautiful and I watched it come out of the box. I held it and fell in love instantly.

Trying to see if it's in the cards for me to pick it up. I don't think I'll have this opportunity for a while.

Something in the back of mind tells me there are a lot of better players out there that deserve it. But at the same time I can see me keeping this thing for a very long time.

I don't think you should ever worry about whether you are worthy of a bass. If you can afford it, and you love it, then buy it and practice practice practice the hell out of it. If it inspires you, it's OK in my book!

I'm in the same boat... I played a brand new, sparkling Combustion V4 the other day and fell in love. I tried everything I could, but I just can't swing it right now.

I did some research and decided I'm going to save up for an NG-2. It may take a year (though I'm hoping things turn up soon and I can save more money each week), but it will certainly be worth it, as I know I will keep it for the rest of my life.

I also know that there are better players out there who are more deserving as bassists, but I've been through a LOT of s*** in my life, and I deserve to get what I want, and this is it.

Anyone who saves up for something is certainly deserving of what it is they saved up for. Musical skill doesn't even factor in to that equation as far as I'm concerned.

I'd venture to say a brisk used market helps keep the shop humming along.

Most of us probably tested the waters with a used Dingwall, bought sight unseen. Many go on to ordering custom builds.

It doesn't hurt that used Dingwalls are fairly steady in resale value.

I've never purchased a new bass. I feel it is my duty to help you guys out with your upgrades. Submit pictures here!
