Dingwall Owners Club

Got a new cab to match my Super PJ. Emerald Green Tolex Subway 112 paired with the original Dark Candy Green Dingwall!

Sure is hard to photograph Dark Candy Green!

I'm sure this has been done to death by now, but has anyone had success with strings other than Payson/Dingwall/Kalium on their long scale Dingwalls? I need slightly heavier strings than Dingwall or Payson offer (probably a 145ish B string and 110ish E) and Kalium shipping is crippling to Canada. Thinking about D'addario super long, I know they used to be slightly too short but I heard there have been adjustments?

I have a M80 for my Z3 as well. I like it for its durability and pockets, but when it wears out I'm going to try a Gigblade. I'm 6'2" tall and the wearing the mono on back straps makes the headstock hit the tops of door frames and I can't lengthen the straps without sewing in more material. It would be nice if it could be worn lower but it's not an option...

I feel you, I'm 6.2" too and I have the same "problem".

How about the Vertigo? Anyone use that? Or does everyone recommend using a standard M80 instead?
I think the standard M80 has a larger bag; we only have stocked the M80 for this reason. I haven't even seen the Vertigo but am sure it is nice.

The pocket on the Vertigo is bigger than the M80, if that's what you mean by having a larger bag.

I have an M80 double and a Vertigo. Both are great bags and both have fit every bass I've put in them (a lot).
