Dingwall Owners Club

Hey fellow dingwall supporters!!!

Is someone still in charge of this thread??? If so can I get a number please. I'm slowly fuddling my way through this internet thingy and I guess it's time to hop on board. Ive been a dingwall player for I think 6-7 years now with my ab2 5. Just got my SJ5 this winter and now have an AB 2 6 on order........ Oh boy I can't wait. It'll follow the same idea as an MTD 635 that was in the for sale section for a while. Maple fb, nat to green burst. Going with a satin finish like the MTD as well. Anywho, here's a photo of my dings as proof I belong here. Lol.
Cheers fellows!!

No numbers for this club!

Whoa. Ping me if you need to sell that SJ5. She's purty.

I see. Musta gave up on that hey. Looking back at the first few pages they were keepin on it. Of course that was like 8 yrs ago....... Ha

Have a gooder eh!!!

I made an executive decision on the numbers back then. From my perspective, there's no reason someone has to have proof of ownership to be in the club that loves Sheldon's basses. Most churches won't stop you from coming in the doors either. ; )

On top of that, people were buying and selling and trying to turn in numbers and get multiple numbers and/or get special numbers. Not everyone who sold or traded their Dingwalls wanted to do it (it's often a painful moment)...why make it worse and take their numbers away. I much prefer that we have a big tent here and remain people and not numbers.

Totally. I just saw the listing on the first few pages and if it still existed I might as well be on it.

I did notice however that it was losing its order pretty quick. That's cool. Either way I'm here to partake in some convo.

Cheers,
Nate

Thanks dt and lowend. From the day of spec'ing it out til the day I received it sure way a long wait. And here I go again. I don't know that I'll ever sell her. It is hands down the best bass I ever played. A few years back I had an opportunity at a super nice Z3....... Played it..... It was amazing but not me. I'm more of an Sj and ab2 guy.

That said, when I get my new 6er there is a good chance that my ab2 5 will go up. I'll give myself a chance to see how comfortable I feel with the six and if all is well I'll say my goodbyes.

You should encourage her to buy you a new bass to let her learn this lesson. =P

Probably not in the works. I made a gear-storage purchase recently that's causing some cascading sprending...next up, I'm shopping for a lawn tractor...3.5 hours a week in mowing with a 21" will get unfun pretty fast.

Oh I am familiar with the struggle of a huge lawn. My dad educated me in patience and perseverance, with mowing twice a week. Sumbitch bought a rider the week I moved out.

I have three brothers and we all spent many, many, many hours push-mowing when we were growing up. Thank God for my John Deere rider!!!

My dad was of the WW2 generation. He did things like shovel coal in the coke furnaces at a steel mill to put himself through college. He believed in a reel mower. ;) But then he doesn't have the 1.33 acres I just bought. It's a great chance to put on some headphones and listen to 4 hours of music though. :P I got a push mower just to get up and running over the weekend, and was laughing at the manual that said to change the oil at 5 hours...not that that part was funny...but the part that said, "roughly 4 to 5 weeks worth of mowing time"
