Wow. No doubt it's beat up. Brutal...... And like you said, the price is a little steep. I guess in relation to that mine is still a steal. That poor bass

What type of finish is that? The visible grain through the finish is breath-taking!

Thanks, I'm very pleased with the results. It is a one off, originally a transparent white non-sealed finish, at my request Sheldon had the painter mix it as white as he could instead of the normal cream color. Then because the body was so light, Sheldon recommended a satin finish to enhance the tone, with the pleasant side effect of making the finish sparkle (Sheldon ' words). Since that photo was taken, the bridge was replaced with a black bridge (can't wait to see that). If all goes well I'll have it next Wednesday, in time for one practice before I take it to Sheridan MT, for an outdoor gig on 16 July.
