Dingwall Owners Club

I know .. I had bought my first one.. wanted a second one.. and found one for sale used.. so I saved a lot on the second one for sure!
I have two of those, and will be getting a third for my AB1 that's on order. I like to have 1 strap for each bass, and at that price its easy to do. I'm sure there's better straps, but this one serves me quite well, so I haven't looked for about 2 years now.

Thinking about selling my beloved Super P5, and thought I would mention it here before listing in classifieds.

Alder/maple/pau ferro in the classic vintage white / tort combination. Less than 9 pounds, passive setup with Tone Fusion pot.

PM me an email address if you'd like to see pics before I list it.
I can vouch for this bass, having played it recently. Very nice feeling bass and whirledpeas is an awesome fella!

I got an ABZ5 a few days ago, I will probably do a NBD next week. I got it off of a fellow who takes lessons from me. I included a shot of it with my ABZ4. I normally don't do NBDs but I like to plug Sheldon and the crew, they've always been good to me. As you're all aware, you cannot go wrong with a Dingwall.

And now the glamour shots, as usual, another masterpiece from Sheldon and Company. View attachment 903069 View attachment 903070[/ATTACH]

Was the bridge in your first photo chorme and in the glamour shots black? Or is it my eyes decieving me??

For everybody curious what the new FDV's sound like, here are a few tone samples:

Quality headphones or studio monitors are definitely recommended to really discern the timbre differences between the parallel and series settings

They sound great, do you know if there will be a P tone option in the future?

Just a heads up, I'm re-opening this thread. For Sale - Dingwall Super P 4 string - Re-opened with Price Drop After taking her down for a few months and gigging her a few more times, I've reached the unavoidable conclusion that I am simply far more comfortable on the longer scale neck profiles. So I am committed to selling this bass to facilitate another long-scale fiver or sixer, preferably a Z3 or AB 3x.

No word on that, but the neck position in series sounds VERY P like to me. Even better I'd argue ;)
