Dingwall Owners Club

It is supposed to be routed. But I really suggest leaving it alone for awhile. The thing is just freakin dynamite as it is. Later on you may want to do some mods, but get used to the tonal range you have first - would be my suggestion. I do prefer the 3x on the Canadian basses, but it isn't, to me, so drastic as to want to immediately mod.
Thnx Michael, I believe you're right, I'll give it a fair amount of time before making any mods.
And thnx for moving on the Bluetooth foot switch so quickly for me, got it yesterday :)
Now I see Bergantino came out with a closed cabinet 115" and I wish I could take it around the block with one of my Reference 112s, but unfortunately there are no Berg dealers close to me !

I have a pair of the NV115's here, PM me and maybe I can answer any questions about comparison with the Ref112.

So yours has the square pups ? Bummer on missing what was, I'm sure, a much anticipated delivery !!!!!!!

Yup, the standard EMG size.

And it's okay, if I can wait a couple weeks for pickups to be made I can wait a few more days to pick them up at the post office!

If your bass has the square pick ups, then it is not routed for a 3x configuration.

I'm going to make an assumption here.

With the new pick up design on the offshore models.... combustion, NG2.

And the rounded pick up covers across the entire line....

The offshore bodies will be all cut standardly for a 2x or 3x configuration. It just would make production more simple having the one template.

Add a pick up to either a combustion or an NG2 and swap the pick guard... boom done.
Change the selector if you like.
Even change the preamp if you like. The emg vs the dark glass

Hmmmm.... maybe a darkglass in my combustion would be fun.

I can't compare pre amps, but my NG2 with the Darkglass is killer !!!!

I have. I like them all differently.

I would love to try the dark glass in a fretless
Yes, I like them all as well, but tend to order more Canadian basses with the Darkglass and do sell 5-1 NG2 DG versus Combustion. I bet a fretless with the DG would be killer.

Man... my new Black n Maple NG2-DG shipped on Monday. Never has a bass taken so long to get cross-country, usually I'd have it by tomorrow. Typical UPS.
They say Mon but it'll probably be Tuesday. Gonna be worth the wait!

I know the feeling well Hawk, just received mine a couple weeks ago after expecting it well before that.
That looks exactly like mine, less the B string.
You'll be amazed !!!!!

I'm In, from France, Toulouse to be more "focus".I play on The Neko Light Orchestra, and some bands like "Bruit".

We make with the Neko Light Orchestra a cover of Light Of The Seven, from the Games Of Thrones soundtrack.

I always try to put forward my Dingwall NG-2 Ducati White to make known the brand in all my works, this time, I arrived from the foreground sceneI :D

Very nicely done. Ok - you can bring your instruments, but moving that piano had to be a bit of work...

No assumptions. The square pick up combustions/NG2's will not support 3x pickups with out additional routing.
