Received this beauty in Friday and it is going out today! I plugged it into a 800 watt amp with the pair of 15s and created 5 minutes of drive the mice 10 miles away THUNDER; had to make sure everything was perfect and it was. Amazing bass! Anybody know if there was supposed to be any case candy with my NG2? I got home and realized in my excitement that I got the bass. Nothing else. Should there be a warranty card or anything?

No card, but I believe you should have gotten a set of hex wrenches.

I don't believe so. I believe the combustions and ng2 are no case no candy sales.

That's what I'm finding out. Apparently there's a warranty registration on the dingwall site, but I haven't been able to locate it.

It is on order through Sho Me Music (thanks @bebass). If we are lucky, by the end of the year (fingers crossed). It will be Gun Metal Gray with the wenge neck option and blue luminlay side markers.

Yesterday I traded a '72 Fender Telecaster bass for a brand new NG2 in black.
Best trade *ever*.
Arbutus Music in Nanaimo, BC made the deal with me - great guys.

A music store actually made that trade? Wow... I'm stunned. You certainly came out ahead financially.

Has the NG-2 totally replaced the standard Combustion? I'm having trouble finding regular Combustions.
