Okay, really keen to know if there are pickguard/pickup/electronics options for people trying to convert an NG2. That said, I love my NG2 and have an ABZ on order.

I think it's awesome that a bass designed for a djent bass player has become ubiquitous. More popular than the Sklar! I wonder if it has surpassed the fame of its namesake
These look rad! Curious what the switching scheme is, if it will be 3x or D-bird, or a completely different setup! Thinking of eventually upgrading my NG-2 and am leaning toward the 3x switching, but may have to reconsider if this brings something different to the table!

I haven't seen or played one yet. It is going to be a tossup as to whether I get an incoming one in before NAMM. If not I too hope he has one there. I have an appointment so I will play the new 6-string and hopefully a Z. If you see me around please say hello! Are you going to see Mohini Dey (and other great players) play at the bass bash Thursday? I am looking forward to that.I am really crossing my fingers that there will be some amazing Z3 basses at the Dingwall Booth this year. The NGs are cool and all but the Z3 is my absolute dream bass!
If someone could save me the effort of sifting through 900 pages of Dingwall thread, how does "typical" 3x switching go?
