Nice job on that demo in a really hard place. Playing in those settings direct to 'tape' really is like walking around in the dark. I don't think I realized that the B/M setting on the D-Bird was parallel rather than series. I always assumed it was a regular series vibe.

You don't have to prorate by note.
It's not quantity but quality of notes, so you definitely get your money's worth.
Yeah the bridge/middle in parallel mode on the D Bird doesn’t have the same oooomph as the series but it can be EQ’d to be very close.
Now, the series setting on the D bird is another story. That’s where my selection mainly stays these days. There’s just soooo much push there. Big sounding is a massive understatement.

This summer I re-found love for the parallel N/B setting, especially on bigger stages outdoors. Sometimes the series setting was reading as too dense and lacking clarity. We ended up north of 90 shows in 2017 with some of them maxing out at about 5K people, so we're experiencing some different settings. We also have 7 people on stage (although that's shrinking to 6 soon) so the mix has a fair amount of density in it as well.

Factory option will change your delivery date. There are to be the upgrade kit options beginning in or after April.
I tried to a couple of months ago and they were all sold. But I already had orders in for comparable Dingwalls.
The new fretboard choices and pickguard wood as well as neck choices set the Canadian D-bird off as a different beast. WHen the Standards were announced I changed all my CAndians ones to the choices you can't get with the Standard.

I see you found out it is. I think they got so many likes on this color that it was a given, but was perhaps initially not a go.
Yeah, that Vintage Burst has my eye as well. But I do wish the had gone with a dark headstock.
There is a new upgrade pickguard wood for the Canadian models that will make the Ducati White insane.

Hmm. The grain on that is so variable, I’m not sure how excited I can get about it. I’m sure there are some that look extraordinary.

I think we will be pleasantly satisfied that it will be a really nice looking differential between the Canadian and the Standard.

As a non-supporting member I think I have to tread pretty lightly here... but something Dingwall will likely go up for sale soon (likely on facebook groups and reverb). I only have three - the six string and the red one are pretty firmly entrenched soooo....What will you have to sell when that happens? Keep me in mind.
Yeah, lots of unknowns trying to get a chance to talk to the Great Dingwall.
That has become my go to setting these days, both on my 3x as well as my 2x. I do occasionally solo the neck as well. But the N/B in Parallel just has such a nice, tight response.
