I’ve tried it all over the dial, anything between half and full works for me depending which band I’m playing with.

Are you still using yours?
Those two basses go to together well!I use a Line 6 Helix mostly for effects into my main amp which is a Genz Benz ShuttleMAX 12 into the Uber 210/410 cabs. Been using the GB rig for the last 8 years.

Did somebody mention pedals?

Thanks brother! I'm in a heavy funk band and also a psychadelic rock band, so I get to use them all at one time or another in the course of a show. I'm a pedal junkie! There is so much awesome in this picture. Nicely done.

EQD, Strymon, Broughton, Red Panda...all high quality pedals you got there.
It finally dawned on me today that the Nolly is the first signature bass that I've ever owned. You did good, brother Getgood.I was digging on the bridge pickup a lot today. Leaner and meaner than the neck with plenty of phat left in. I'm going to try soloing it the next time I play it live. The only other bass that I really liked soloing the bridge pickup on was the Ric 4003 I had for a while.
You know, I think for a dollar more you could have gotten purple basses.I use a Line 6 Helix mostly for effects into my main amp which is a Genz Benz ShuttleMAX 12 into the Uber 210/410 cabs. Been using the GB rig for the last 8 years.

Yup. I've had a rackmount for a few years and grabbed a dove cage recent enough. I was also able to get a Demeter Minnie and an M700 through trades.
I just got an HX Effects. Just now starting to play with it. Before that it was mainly Markbass Chorus/Flanger, Markbass Booster, and the EHX Canyon. I love the Shimmer on the Canyon.
Billy Sheehan is playing live with a Helix nowadays. I've got myself Helix Native to use at home and its pretty cool if you pair it with external impulse responses.Would you mind terribly if I picked your brain in a few weeks re: your HX Effects experience with bass? I'm looking to get one myself but hard to get a good read at the moment on how well it works with bass. The opinions on the Line 6 forums tend to be from guitar players who "play bass", which isn't much help usually (!).
