I think it disrupts the curves of the body too much. Looks too industrial or something.

Yeah, it's an interesting look for sure. I agree it disrupts the body. Maybe if it was just a ramp like this:

I was going to say that, if that was a matching wood cover or covers, then straight sides would work I think.

I like it! Much better than the old rectangle style pickups.

Is that a proper ramp or just a wood pickup cover? I cannot tell if it is radiused on my computer monitor. Either way, it looks great.

I agree. It looks like a pickup cover rather than a ramp, especially since it's covering pickups...

Just what we need, yet another shape for the pickups.

My preference is for the new current existing rounded shell pickups. The slightly rounded edge rectangles of the Canadian series basses were not bad either (which is what I have on mine), but the new ones look better.

+1. I think the rounded shells are more aesthetically pleasing, they flow with the body lines better...
