I'd doubt it, personally.
Plek is not better than a good human, and in some cases worse.
Where Plek has ad advantage over human finish work, is in large numbers.

I don't know that this is going to be a large operation; at least at first.

I know they were pleking the skylines and my lull jazz had it done. agreed that its not a magic cure all, but given that the instruments will be built off shore and are priced around 1000 bucks I'm not sure what kind of fretwork to expect. I'm sure Dan will figure it out one way or another. he's not known for being associated with bad necks and fretwork.

It's a tough market. Lakland basses in the UK don't seem to be selling in high numbers. Kinda wish I had an Aero or Fralin equipped Lakland, but I don't like the 35" scale and every Skyline I tried (6-7) weighed about 12lbs!

Dan was the reason I had electrical tape over the brand name on my 55-02 for a while. And my interest in yet another Far East made Fender clone is roughly zero.

However, good on him for sticking with the industry. He's got staying power, that's for sure...
