Easy there! I wholeheartedly believe that I am entitled to government-funded “mwah” and that poor intonation is a product of systemic bassism.

...We early GenXers invented PUNK ROCK! Everyone remembers that!!I am an early GenX. Millennial's and Boomers have forgotten about us.
But we might agree that our Gen X attitudes probably suck…at least mine doesI agree with you on the red, but I'm not that keen on blue basses either, although I like blue in other contexts. I tend to gravitate toward black and white basses, and I don't have anything against bursts. However I am not a fan of natural wood finishes.
It seems that you and I, both Gen Xers, don't agree on color preferences. How bizarre.![]()

Even Ron Jeremy plays bass?!? Who knew?
Where'd you get that real gold leaf finish for that kind of dough (boomer term)?![]()

Well, all of the original Ramones were born between 1948 and 1951 making them Boomers and Johnny Rotten, were born in the mid 50's making him a boomer too.
Whether or not 'dated' is true of all amber bursts, or a bad thing, is up to the beholder.
