I neglected to post updates. Whoops.
I wasn't able to get a ton done, but the necks are officially glued to the bodies, I drilled out the string ferrule holes, I tested out the magnetic cavity cover (and got a clip for the video), cleaned up the remaining epoxy that was around the ends of the frets, cleaned up the nut slots, routed the first of 4 pickup routes to final depth, tried to make a 3 sided pickup route template for the neck pickups and ended up making them too wide, so have to redo them, and carved the first heel transition.
So, the pickup routes... I didn't realize how low these bridges are to the bodies when I originally routed the depth, I guess. I also might not have factored in the foam. I don't want to route all the way through the neck that goes into the pickup route, so I'm going to try a strategic routing thing on the neck pickup routes so there is still some material left there. I also need to route the edge of the fretboards to match the edge of the pickup routes.
Basically, after I get that all done, I just have the pickup screws and tuner screws to drill pilot holes for, 1 more heel to shape, and 2 truss rod covers to make. Then on to fine sanding the wood and finishing up the fretwork.
I was going to go through everything on my shelves in the basement to try to find the missing nuts on Monday, but my brother ended up calling that day and asking me to help stain his fence, so I decided to just order 2 new nuts and move on. If I find them when I move, I can use them on future guitars if I happen to make more 7 strings.
I want to try to make sure to actually assemble these pre-finish.

It is a bass forum, so it's easy to forget.
The problem is that it's going to be at a baby shower and they'll have a table setup for all the gifts to sit at and then all the gifts will be opened and basically piled up. I'll warn her though, she already knows that she's getting it.
Regarding the clock, I checked it yesterday and the paint is completely dry now (the day before, only the ridges of the brush strokes were still a little wet). I sent a message to my sister-in-law and asked if I could give it to them before the baby shower so I didn't risk something happening to it and she said yes and sounded excited about getting it. I have a battery in it and it's been keeping time since 9 last night, so I think it's good to go.
I'll try to find some time later today to work on the guitars some more. I have high hopes of getting all of the woodworking done today, even though that probably won't actually happen.

Well... I got home from work and now it's supposedly supposed to start storming in a couple hours, so I guess my high hopes aren't getting me anywhere today.

The pickup routes might be done on this one. I'll see when I do the pre-finish assembly. I know that it's going to be cutting it close because I'm trying not to route completely through the neck woods in the neck pickup route.
I got the guitar sanded and these woods sanded so much easier than most of the others I've worked with. I love it. I can't wait to see this with finish.

The pickup route depth is good.
I just need to make a little more room for the wire on the bridge pickup.I did find a couple other things to fix up before I put finish on:
-the nut slot is not square
-the top wood is too thick for the pots to fit through
-the ledge in the control cavity is in the way of 1 of the pots

But... I have my house now.

After they cleared out...
I just need to take down the curtains and vacuum.
It's small, but I've mapped it out and I think it will fit everything just fine. There's another room where I'll probably do the finishes to keep finish and workspace separate.

The closing date ended up being 2 weeks later than I thought it was going to be, so I packed everything up way early and couldn't do anything without un-packing it again, so I waited it out...
But... I have my house now.
