I can say that when I use my Boss GT-1000Core with either of my Simplifiers (both the guitar ans bass versions), I use them like this. I am not familiar with the Hotone Ampero II Stomp, but I looked at it briefly, and I imagine you could do something similar with it. Any multieffects processor that has an FX loops should be similar, like the tc electronic Plethora X5.
First, I plug my instrument into a tuner. From the tuner out, I go to the input of a One Control BJFe 1Loop. The Send goes to the input of the Core, then the FX loop 1 send from the Core goes to the Return on the 1Loop. The Output of the 1Loop goes to my analogue drive pedals, then into the preamp of the Simplifier. The Preamp FX loop send of the Simplifier goes to the FX loop 1 return on the Core, then the output of the Core goes to the Preamp FX loop return of the Simplifier. I do not use the Parallel FX loop on the Simplifier Bass Station, at all.
What this allows me to do is use some of the effects in the Core before my analogue drive pedals, if I want. I do this because I play instruments with piezo pickups, and I want to use the compressor and acoustic resonance enhancer effects. With the 1Loop switched on, my signal hits the Core first for those effects, then goes to my drive pedals. If I am not using the compressor and enhancer, then I switch the 1Loop off, and my signal goes directly to my drive pedals.
From there my signal goes to the Simplifier's preamp, then back to the Core for other effects, then to the Simplifier's power amp and cab section, and out to stage rig and/or PA or recording console.
Here's an illustration using the guitar Simplifier, but the bass one works the same way, just with different pedals, and in mono, rather than stereo. In this case, I have the Simplifier's FX loop output going to the FreqOuts first, then the Core, but I later discovered that the FreqOuts work better before the Simplifier's preamp, so I have changed that bit.
