Thanks. It’s got 2 DiMarzio Model P’s, 4 way rotary switch (wired neck, both series, both parallel, bridge), and a Hipshot A style bridge. Those are the main hardware upgrades, Hipshot light tuners are in the future.
The second volume knob isn’t hooked up to anything, I just wanted to have it available if I choose to wire it like the original Rippers down the line. And it looks better with 3 knobs than just 2. So it’s just volume/tone for the time being.
Making the pickguard is harder than I thought it would be, but you can’t tell how bad it really looks when it’s on the guitar unless you really look closely at the edges around the pickups. Luckily when I was making it is was able to find a brand new Ryobi bandsaw for sale for $70 so that made cutting it out that much easier. It’s a lot of filing to smooth it all out.
