compact disks (West Philly)

[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

I have two compact disks to give to anyone interested for free. I can mail them to you if you wish as well for free. One is by the 1960s group Procol Harum, a CD called "Broken Barricades." It's actually a CD copy onto a maxell CD. My friend had given it to me but I really am not into Procol Harum that much. The other is a CD of Spanish music called "Vamos a bailar!" It was put out by Allstate Insurance Company as a promotional item for some reason.

Looking for a REAL bass player (Philly Suburbs)

[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

I manage a band in the area that is looking for a bass player. Only real musicians reply. They have a very heavy Red Hot Chili Peppers influence and are looking for a bass player to fill out the band. We have recording time scheduled within the next 4 months and will be starting to book shows non stop after that. Only serious replies. Must be able to practice atleast once a week.

40 Tons of River Rock (Westerville)

[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

I have approximately 40 tons of river rock (roughly 2-4 inches long, and 2-3 inches wide) in a basement in a small office building in Westerville. If you have the manpower and capability to take at least half (20 tons) of the rock in one day, I would be willing to provide access to the building to you.

The rock is clean; it was designed to be used in an old solar heating system that was never utilized. The rock needs to be hauled (likely in 5 gallon buckets) up one flight of stairs to the backdoor, and then along an approximately 30 foot sidewalk to where you can park your truck.

Email me if you would like more information. Unfortunately, if you are not able to take at least 20 tons worth of the rock in one day, I will not be able to make arrangements to provide you with access. Thanks!

He wants 20 TONS of rock moved via bucket upstairs in a day? Good luck with that...and how did 40 tons of rock end up in the basement to begin with?

And he has measurements for each rock. Up one specific staircase, and you HAVE to park at a specific location 30 feet away. What happens if you only get 19 tons out in one day? Does he make you put it back? Murder you and bury you under the remaining 21 tons?

Searching "5 String" (as in bass), I come across this gem:

White trash starter kit - $3500 (Lexington )
With this here white trash stater kit you get 2 must haves for any trailer park. First item.... 87' stang. This pretty pony has all the power you need for a beer run. It has 2.3 liters of pure hell under the hood. So much power that even Chuck Norris himself is scared. Second item.... 5 string banjo. Now what's better than strummin a banjo while sippin a cold one and staring at that stang in your driveway? Exactly nuttin, that's what. I will even throw in a six pack on top of the deal. Contact through that there email and ask for Cap.
Life's a garden dig it

River rock is about 2 tons per yard and it takes about 40 full buckets to move a yard. Realistically you a can only carry 50-75 pounds in a bucket without it breaking so you can't fill them all the way up. My best guess is you would have to move 300-400 buckets to move the rock, plus unload your pickup truck 25 or 30 times. That is a rough day at the office....

Two gems for you today
