Found this good one in the Atlanta CL this morning. He seems very interested in being in a band with "some serious A-holes". Shouldn't be hard filling those positions in this area.

'm a 24 year old lead guitar player trying to put together a REAL rock n' roll band. No ********. Old school rock... Covers and originals that would include bands like Guns N' Roses, John Sykes, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Ozzy, etc. need good mix of talent and attitude; ******** welcome. Serious inquiries only... I don't have time for trendy multi-mismatched genres, guys with no gear, or people showing up to a gig wearing flip flops and a ****in' polo shirt. Need good gear... can't sound good without it. Call, text or email.. 404 281 1708

lol I'm bored at home with stomach flu, so I called him for ***** and giggles. :hiding: :D

Made in USA Fender Jazz bass body, and electronics. Original owner broke the neck so it has a Warmoth neck on it now (with fender logo added). The Warmoth piece is arguably better than the original, but I've brought down the price anyways. If you're looking for a really solid bass, then look no further!

If you're interested call, or text.

The pictures are hilarious and show some kind of franken-bass with a Precision headstock logo:

The pictures are hilarious and show some kind of franken-bass which is CLEARLY a Precision with some horribly ugly conversion to Jazz pickups and controls:

That is a Jazz body, but I don't know about the weird routing for the pickups...he's selling as a "USA Jazz Bass" and the aftermarket decal clearly says "Precision Bass". He seems quite intelligent.

My experience has taught me that people who quote Nietzsche either:

A. Have never actually read Nietzsche but know that he was a "rebel" and have Googled a few of his quotes.

or

B. Have read some of his works, absolutely don't get them, but pick out a couple of bits and pieces that they think sound cool.

Kevin Kline's character in "A Fish Called Wanda" is the perfect personification of this special brand of douche nozzle.
It's like the ads that list 15 metal bands as influences and throw in Miles Davis. They wouldn't know a Miles Davis song if they heard one, but they know Miles is cool.

First let me say I speak for myself and not everyone on CL (if you happen to agree with me then...ok). I have spent COUNTLESS hours, days , weeks, months, years learning my instrument. Not only "playing" but learning how and where my instrument fits into and enhances the project at hand. It has been my experience (over 20yrs) that most of the people out there playing don't really understand what makes a song or band great..It is a craft people, not just throwing noise together in an organized fashion and calling it a hit...Those who understand the complexity of music understand what good music is all about..I would suggest to everyone on CL who is bitching about bass players wanting money to play to actually LISTEN to music, not just hear it and say "OH THATS AWESOME"! Pick it apart and listen to the rythm section and realize what makes a band "tight"..most of you say it but have not a clue as to what it means...I am the backbone people,,,we make the music tight...I make the music good...any good band or player will tell you the same thing, it's just a fact!..I have spent years developing this...some have natural talent that is just inherant..Those of you who lost good bass players know how hard it is to find one..Anyone can play bass people but not many can play well..that goes for drums also...Guitarests (that is for the moron that can't spell in his post) are a dime a dozen and very few actually know how to play? And how many of you actually know what a "pocket player" is? I deserve to get paid as does everyone else...STOP SELLING YOURSELVES SHORT!! (you don't go to work for free do you?) As for those not looking for a "hired gun" and want a commitment...I AM NOT YOUR ****ING GIRL FRIEND...I can handle a once a week, or practicing on my own because I UNDERSTAND...I have gone on stage cold as well as rehearsed...makes not a difference to me because I have LEARNED MY INSTRUMENT and am still learning everytime I play...so ****ING "A" I WANT TO GET PAID!

I love this guy!

It's to bad 99% of new bands don't know what it takes to be above the rest. I do. Period. But you have to be "Very" Talented" Willing to play songs "No One else will play" cause half of them "Cant" You have to "Look back" & play tunes that are WELL beyond most peoples capabilities" That's the hard part.It boils down to a few things: Diversity/Absolute tightness(true to nature) In ALL covers. The ability to make them just "AS THE ORIGINALS" and OLD school. Song selection and choice. Must be the BEST of Every thing" If not you'll always be "Per Norm"I have choices that would **** the ass outta people try finding the musicians I WANT for my avenue of music "GOOD Luck" Not to many can play Kansas and bands In there ball park.Till you can. You'll NEVER be set apart. Very talented drummer. And trust me till you've lived in the times of Gentle Giant Yes/ Chicago/ And many bands of the like your still a newbie. (No offence) Man I hate people Who think they know music. And are but kid's
