When I'm not texting or making phone calls I like to tape it to my junk and set it to repeatedly vibrate. It's a lot cheaper than my monthly hooker bill, and when the man pokes their face into my business, they get teabagged.

I think cell phones can be extremely useful. 2 weeks ago, my truck broke down in the middle of no where and I was able to call for help. They can be a great asset during unexpected situations. That being said, people should learn a little respect with using the cell phone. It's just as rude to text while someone is talking to you as to turn away out of no where and start talking to someone else in mid conversation. They'll go as far to say, don't worry, I'm still listening. Are people really so socially deprived they need multiple conversations at the same time?

6 dollar cell phone plan, thanks to bad accounting I guess. Unlimited texting/calling. Also, anyone who is afraid that their cellphone is going to give them away, you can turn them off.

Now the government, that's a whole 'nother story. I cant say it here, they are watching...

It's not about substance... it's about constitutional rights. They don't have the right to listen at all... but now they have the technology to listen to anyone... and the best part... they get you to pay for that technology.

Look, I don't want to call you an idiot, so instead I'll just insinuate it. Firstly, you pay cell phone companies - corporations - not the government. Secondly, the government has been keeping tabs on us before cell phones were invented, and they'll continue keeping tabs on us through a multitude of technological means for as long as this country exists. Another member brought up the IP address; are you really so ignorant that you'd jump at the chance to condemn cell phones through a device that does exactly what you're complaining about?

Every computerized transaction you've made with your credit or debit card has been logged. Every digital piece of information you put out there is seen by a lot of people other than your intended audience. Quit whining about cell phones, they should be the least of your worries.
