i just finished populating the 3 Dunwich CTG pcbs that i received from OSHpark. i figured that it was best to just build them all at once since one is for me and the other two are already spoken for:

I actually think that these could be a cool goal to shoot for with DIY. I'm trying to learn and as long as the OSHpark stuff doesn't vanish right away maybe someday in a land far far away...a riff filled land...I will assemble a mighty chainsaw...or maybe I'm just really baked?

Since i'm on a Dunwich kick right now, i had been looking for a Wizard Fuzz for quite some time, and since i haven't able to find one for sale anywhere, i just built my own, only in a 125B enclosure. fitting that 12 position rotary depth switch in it was pretty tough but i managed to squeeze it in there:

Another CTG came to life! I finished it today and recorded some of the testing with a short loop. Not a demo by any means but you can hear all 3 "voices" by itself and then mixed, including some random knob twisting.

0:00 - 0:07 pedal off
0:07 - 0:14 pedal on, clean only
0:14 - 0:36 Dist 1 only, knob twisting
0:36 - 0:58 Dist 2 only, knob twisting
0:58 - 1:50 all 3 "voices" mixed, knob twisting
1:50 - 1:57 pedal off



First impressions: Great design, very versatile pedal, there are tons of useful sounds and different shades of dirt available and the mixing feels or sounds very organic and smooth.

Artwork looks great! Sounds sound nice too. I need to learn to build stat to build one of these.

i used to have a 125B volt thrower but (regretfully) sold it. i tried to find a large box one but to no avail so i ended up building one for myself and etched the enclosure for it. i also added a relayed true bypass with a 9V regulator for it so when i run it at 18 volts it won't damage the relay circuit. i think i prefer the large box version over the 125B version:

I personally preferred the 125B after the fix that Nick made. It was less Rat and more of it's own thing. I dug that.

for me, it's nice to have more clipping options, and for some reason it seems to have a fuller low end than i remember, but i don't have them side by side to compare. that said, i really liked the 125B version too.

My company orders from PCBWay all the time, so I just generated the gerbers with Eagle and tacked them on with a company order .
