EBMM StingRay Special Club

Anyone see what's in the vault today hot damn
Thanks for the heads up!!! I told myself last week to make it a part of my morning routine to check the Vault every day and once again before bed.
Of course I forget this week and wouldn’t you know they drop not one but two 5 strings.
Purple and gold and anything with sparkles always has the potential to lure my money. :nailbiting::greedy:
Thank goodness neither of these appealed to me more than my current players.
Those Vault offerings are getting mighty close . But no cigar yet. :cigar:

Whew!! This getting is scary. :help::chicken:

I definitely do NOT need to check the vault. I don't have a six-figure annual bass budget!

Of course, I did anyway. That Flash Gold Stingray is pretty intriguing. But that Vintage Burst Bongo... hoo boy! :woot:

Loving that purple!

Here are my other two Specials, a Maroon Mist 4H (still one of my favorites of all time) and Tectonic Blue Sparkle 4HH. Along with my newest addition a Snowy Night 4H just recently shown, I have all 3 fretboard woods covered. They all sound a bit different in character even with the same strings to the point that I EQ them a bit differently. It makes it interesting to change off between the 3 basses to get a slightly different presentation.

Man looking at old pictures of the Tectonic Blue including this old listing from Reverb, that is one beautiful bass. No wonder you don't see any used ones for sale.

Both beauties!

Not sure it’s it appropriate to post here but we were talking about 5 string a few pages back. The Music Man vault just dropped 2 5 string StingRays. A gold and a purple. I’m loving the purple one.

Upon my morning visit I have discovered that the purple has mysteriously disappeared!!! Must have sold out already? Dont they usually leave them up for reference? Hmmmm .....

They take them down once they sell out of the quantity they have available. The times I’ve bought from the vault they’ve shipped next day. They’re right on it. So I imagine they update the page regularly. However I have seen things disappear and come back weeks later with a few quantities if they’ve produced more but that is the exception.

Has anyone put schaller s locks on their stingray? I just tried put one on and found that the screw is short and a bit thicker, so there was some resistance as I was screwing it in. Honestly it was quite a stressful experience and I’m leaning towards taking it to a shop to get the second one installed

Anyone have any prediction what the prices of the pastel basses will be when they are released in July? If the price of the Galactic Pearl 4H in the vault at $2,899 is any indicator, it looks like they could be up there. Other than 2 tone paint it's no different than the new pastels. Same rosewood fretboard, same matching headstock, same hardware.
