EBMM StingRay Special Club

Jeez to many choiceso_O

In Sparkle I like Snowy night and ,Smoked Chrome

Also like Harvest Orange and Raspberry
Like black hardware

Now my original favorite Burnt Apple is available

There is 2021 Snowy Night listed as Mint at 8.3lbs for $1900 free shipping:help: :)

Many of us deal with too any choices by owning more than one. But if your favorite is burnt apple and they happen to have brought back, go for it. Get ti while the getting is good. Might not be able to get it but for a limited time. All of them have Sparkles except the raspberry . Personally, Id go for the Burnt Apple, Snowy Night, or Smoked Chrome in that order. Maple has some nice snap!! Brings out that Stingray STING!!!

Ironically, no GC anywhere close to me has a Stingray Special 4H except for the one 5 miles away that has this beauty.
Not going to even give it a test run for fear of love...
This is exactly what happened to me… “eh I’ll just go try it out, I’m sure I won’t like it enough to justify the price”

well that didn’t exactly work out

I have a Burnt Apple Special and I must say they are beautiful in person (and in pics!).

For anyone that’s interested, BT13 Hipshot xtenders incoming. They’re not up on the Hipshot site yet, but I expect they should be soon. Mine (one of the new batch) arrived in Canada today and is on its way to me.
Great news!

Oscar and I have had a funny and friendly exchange over the BT13s. He’s a great guy.

TWINS!

Funny thing is that a year before I pulled the trigger on my Ruby Punch, I was actually at Guitar Center in Hollywood and they had the Platinum Punch one in stock. I played it for a bit. It was really nice and I remember it being very light weight. Maybe I just wasn't in the market for a Stingray at the time, not sure why I didn't get that one. But I saw the Ruby color and fell in love immediately.

I have finally joined the Stingray (Special) owners club. I picked up my new BFR Stingray 4H in Ruby Punch from Guitar Center yesterday. I’m naming her Dorothy because of the Ruby Sparkle (like the slippers) and because she got shipped to me from Kansas.View attachment 4864671

I dont blame you one bit. But if you have not ever tried a Special and you are a Stingray fan, you owe it to yourself to try one out.
It's posts like these that keeps me wondering about a Special (even though I have a 2 and 3-band SR)!
I want one in the 7 lb. range. I've found one but don't care for the burnt ends finish.
