Really...? So that's that's why you solicited "opinions" from the "faceless masses" at Talkbass?

I was hoping that some of the faceless turds on this forum would actually be albe to look at an instrument for it's true value instead of the "tiny opinion" of internet flamers based on the man himself. I guess I was wrong. Sue me.

IMHO Mike Lull's bass are dog$hit. I would rather own a BSX from Rondo music than a Mike Lull dog. In fact I would say that the worst bass I have ever played was a Mike Lull and I am shocked that they are still in biz, let alone selling what they sell for. Hell, Hellen Keller would have said the Mike Lull basses that i had the chance to play were dog $hit. Now, would you take my opinion as gospel, even though it is just my true experiance?
The thing is though, it's you against the world. So you're either some incredible genius type who nows more than everybody else or just.........whatever

Well, I've owned one of Mike's basses and I would have to disagree. So would many many other people.

If Ed Roman built the Holy Grail of basses I wouldnt' buy one. There are a few luthiers out there that I won't buy their instrument even though they are damn good. They are jagoffs who don't deserve my money. I spend about $1000-$2000 a month on gear on average so it's not like I can't afford whatever I want, but if they don't treat customers or potential customers with respect, then **** 'em.

Then there are people like Mike Tobias, who besides the fact he builds some of the best basses ever made, is a very nice and genuine person who really gives a damn about his customers and building them what they want. If only more people had his philosophy and people skills, not to mention talent as a luthier.

Whatever...it's a free country...you're entitled to your opinion and you're more evolved than the rest of us. But you know what they say, a smart man learns from his mistakes, a wise man learns from others mistakes. You knock sadowsky but you defend this charlatan? where there is smoke......

How would I know who is and who is not a "charlatan"? I have bought from niether. have you? I know that a Sadowsky is worth no were near what they charge. Since Roman's prices are no where near Sadowsky's who would be the less of two evils? The "charlatan" who picks your you clean or the one you have read bad things about posted by people you have never met?

I think we've all had just about enough of this.....

HI!

Funny thing is pink, no one cares what your opinion is. We all know you are an idiot. You prove it over and over again by bagging on good people and products. It hurts to go through a thread and read your stupid and careless remarks. They are insulting to the people you speak of and the guys and gals on this forum. I hope one of the moderators steps up and puts you off of this forum so the rest of us can continue to enjoy TB without your dumb rants and stupid remarks

If you have never owned a Sadowsky, how do you know they aren't worth the money? I finally satisfied my curiousity about them and bought one. I think they are as good or better than pretty much anything else in their price range that I have tried. And that's a lot of basses.

Dude, if you dislike us all so much, why do you keep coming back here? Just an honest question...

Well good for you. Hoo Ray! Like I give a crap. I wouldn't qualify any of the Mike Lull basses that I have played as even worthy of a beginner and you're experiance has been different. good for you. Why does everyone have to have thier ego stroked? Are you all that weak? A great instrument is great, a poor instrument is poor. Why do you all have to have your asses kissed? give me a break.

The question of whether Ed's basses are good has been posed on TB before. You should have done a search and saved everyone alot of aggravation.

So Adrian, you gonna take a Benjamin over to Ed to do a review for us? ;)

Great idea. Perhaps something similar to the 'Wishbass' thread? I'd be happy to send Adrian a $10.00 money order. 9 more TBer's do the same. Adrian can enlist a fellow bassist from Vegas to try one out and then post back their impressions of it.

And why do you need to be a cock? Are you really Ed Roman in drag?
