The compressor on the old WT amps was a little cheesy IMO. The pedal does a good job of emulating it.

Bought one today. The main reasons for the purchase was the 30hz to cut boomy stages. Other reasons is that I know it will drive a power amp and has a DI if I decide to go the power amp route. Aside from that, I've always dug the eden-ish tone and am looking forward to seeing what this pedal can do. I plan to run it with my VT Bass into the power amp of my bx1500.
You could just buy one at GC and if it doesnt work out, return it.
Anyone out there notice that the input gain is extremely sensitive? I get distortion above 9 O'Clock...anyone else??
Please excuse my ignorace, but how does one "dim" a pot?...the bass pots have to be dimmed...
