enevolpe filters?,

Hi,

i'm thinking of either buying the digitech BassSynth Wah or the Dod fx25b i think, and i'm not sure which to get. I've tried both in the shops, but its hard tell which i prefer without playing in my band/s.

Any opinions on these too pedals would be much appreciated :) and depending on my next pay cheque i might consider the q-Tron instead lol

Q-trons are nice. I sold mine a couple of years ago because I wasn't using it much but now I'm finding that I miss it. I'm looking at the Q-tron plus.

Other filters to look at are the HAZ Lab Mutron III+ and the EBS Bass IQ.

I don't know much about the Digitech Synth Wah but you may find some reviews on it here if you do a search. I tried a DOD once before I purchased the Q-tron. The Q-tron beat it hands down IMHO. It really all depends on what kind of sound you want and the type of music you're doing. I was looking for an old school funk Bootsy Collins era vibe and the Q-tron has that sound down. The Q-tron can also give a synthy vibe as well.

Just be honest with yourself about what you expect out of an envelope filter and you will get the right one for you. :)
