Epiphone Club

DCS_7869-1re.jpg

My second Epi (first was a JC Sig.; returned/long ugly electronics story), EB35. Made 2000-2001, 34" scale, Dual Rail pups. Found it used for less than $150, and it's the best money I've spent on gear in quite a while. Took about a 1/2 hour to set up, and plays like it is new; I am righteously impressed.

Just came across this Epiphone Club, didn't know there was one? Now that I found it,I just got this Epiphone Les Paul Standard. I like the gold hardware myself,so I took the chrome hardware off,and replaced it with gold. Gold grover tuners, and Hipshot Supertone 3 point bridge. I always have had Fenders,Music Man,and G&L's down through the last 40years. Couldn't afford the Gibson version,of the Les Paul bass. But this Cherry sunburst flamed finish, jumped right out at me! I always liked the looks of the Les Paul guitars. There was a guy, good friend now, started playing lead guitar at our Church. He got this Epiphone Les Paul guitar out,and it was the Cherry sunburst flamed finish, with gold hardware, and I am hooked. It actually is a great sounding bass guitar, playing through a Fender Rumble 200 combo. My Epiphone is 2013 Korean made. If they are giving out Club Member numbers, would love to have one. Thank you, didn't mean to be so lengthy.

I understand Silver Blues,is the Club Member numbers assigner, right? Would be an honor to have one. By the way,I have the chrome hardware, that I took off my Epiphone Les Paul,if anyone was interested? Couple more pictures,of 2013 Epiphone Les Paul Standard bass. Finally found an original Epiphone case for mine. Didn't have a case when I first bought it. I understand they don't stock the case anymore?
