My SX SJB 62 5 Stringer in 3TS Sunburst (that I just got last week) along side my Squire Precision...

I found my tuners, CIJ Fenders from a fellow TBer and today I ordered a BadassII through the local music store. And his price was as good as any I have seen on the net, and no shipping. I have passed on a few BAII's that would have been as much or more with shipping......
So, hopefully next week the new neck tuners and bridge will magically find their way onto the black SX body....elves, right?

My entry. Basic 5 string fretless. Bone friggin stock, cept for the pickguard stuff. Oh yeah, changed strings too.

And they are fine instruments, even when they are bone friggin' stock!

I have a few SXes:
A pair of stock SX-301's (left one is fretless)
And a pair of SJB's with Allparts alnico pups and a badass style bridge (natural one has flats)
Love the natural bass! ( I wonder why?....LOL!)
Update on my project. The tuners are on the new neck, well used CIJ Fenders but still in perfect working condition...reliced the natural way!

I had to drill out the tuner screw holes as the smallest Stainless screws I could find were #10's, not #12's, but they look just fine.
The BAII is back ordered! UG! So I am actively seeking one when I go to Milwaukee later this week! I will make a few phone calls, find one in stock and pick it up. When the other one finally comes in, it will grace my natural Jazz...
Took pics of the neck but will post them when I have the time....still don't have the neck mounted on the body though...the elves are on strike....

I pretty much doubt it. It looks like they are popular. Which means that Kurt will reorder them. Count on it! I know what GAS is like, but have learned that good things come to those who wait.
If you REALLY can't wait, get a 4 stringer for now (they are in stock) and get ready for the 5 stringers when they come back!
Don't know about the person you originally asked, but I put this: Link Removed on my jazz twins. No, it wasn't a drop in, had to fill and drill new holes.
But that ain't the bad part. The string spread on this one is enough wider that the stock pickup couldn't carry the B. So I had to replace the pups. i used these: http://www.allparts.com/store/pickups-bass-pickups-pu-0430-023,Product.asp , http://www.allparts.com/store/pickups-bass-pickups-pu-0431-023,Product.asp . They are not as punchy as the stocks were but they are alnico... nice tone.

SX Black Bound/blocked neck - 80.00
New BAII Bridge 57.00
CIJ Tuners - 35.00
Fender Black Jazz knobs - 10.00
Stainless screws to mount tuners - 1.20
String Tree button thingy - Off original neck...
I have 303.00 USD into this thing and it looks and sounds awesome! (Not counting the shipping on the bass or replacement neck...)
So for right now, at the halfway mark...I am real happy with the way this bass turned out. And it sounds awesome! I may not replace the pups or pots, but will most likely shield the cavities...and that may be where I stop! Well aside from grooving the BAII saddles later this week.....
I did the neck mount with some rubber strips, some strips of wood, a clamp and a hand drill.....not to shabby!

I meant that I used some strips of closed cell rubber to protect the neck and the body from any marring from the wood due to clamp pressure and to protect from damaging the frets. Basically I had a strip of the rubber, then a narrow strip of wood between the 17th and 18th fret, and a square of rubber and a strip of wood on the back for the same reason....kind of a bass sandwich.
